Reading Corner: Feelings

Some students in Apple Class have problem when pronouncing "sad" and "cold". This word "sad" has short "a" sound in the middle.  Students sometimes say "sed" with the short "e" sound instead.  And for the word "cold", students often forget the "d" sound at the end and say "cull" with short "u" sound.  Please keep in mind that "cold" has long "o" sound in the middle and "d" sound at the end.  Keep reading and reviewing!

Enjoy the vidoes!

School Outing to Carrefour: Assignment Sheets

I am very excited about our school outing to Carrefour tomorrow.  Students in Apple Class have learned quite a lot of vocabulary and sentence patterns.  I would like to see my students speaking English in a shopping experience, asking for helps in English, discussing about price in English and speaking English to the cashier.   I made two assignment sheets for Apple Class students. Students will practice shopping for various school supplies, clothes, drink and food.  Also, Apple Class will practice shopping with real money and collect changes.  Here are the assignment sheets.  See you all tomorrow.
