Preparation Week

Dear Parents,

This semester starts in September. This week is the first week of September, it’s also the preparation week. Students will get their school bags, sleeping bags, lunch boxes, indoor shoes, uniforms, name stickers and communication books this week. We will also start our new timetable. There are some changes in the time table.

-    Toy day every Tuesday. Students could bring their own toys from home to school to show, tell and share. Students would take turns to tell about their toys in front of the class. Don’t worry if no toy to bring to school. There are also a lot of toys at school.

-     Outdoor Time every Tuesday morning (2^nd period).  Students would have classes at the outdoor area at the back of our school.  Teachers would take turns to lead activities. Students learn to play with others, work together in all kinds of games.

-     Park Day every Wednesday morning (2^nd period).  We would go to the park on 大龍街 next to the 蘭州 junior high school. Please bring water bottles to school.  Prepare mosquito repellent or sun screen if needed.

-     Birthday Party on the first Thursday every month.

-     Cooking Class every Thursday afternoon.

9月我們進入了新學期, 這周是9月的第一周也是我們的預備周。孩子們會在這周拿到新書包, 睡帶, 午餐盒, 室內鞋, 運動服, 姓名貼和連絡簿。這周我們也開始我們正式學期的時間表。新學期的時間表跟暑期的時間表有些許的不同:

-     玩具日: 每個星期二。孩子可以帶一個自己的玩具或故事書來學校和其他小朋友分享。我也會在課堂上花大約10分鐘的時間讓孩子站在台前像同學們介紹自己的東西。家裡沒有玩具或故事書的孩子不必擔心, 學校也有許多玩具, 孩子都有機會玩。

-     遊戲課: 每個星期二早上第二節課。孩子會在遊戲區上課, 老師會教孩子各式各樣的團體活動或遊戲。訓練孩子一起玩一起分享, 分工合作, 並在各式各樣的活動或競賽中學會有時候輸有時候贏。

-     公園日: 每個星期三早上第二節課。我們去大龍街上的公園玩。請爸爸媽媽為孩子帶可以背的水壺。若想替孩子準備防蚊液或防曬乳液也可以帶來, 我會在去公園前幫孩子擦上。

-     慶生會: 每個月第一個星期四下午。

-     煮飯課: 每個星期四的下午。
