Toy Show and Tell

Students in Apple Class love toy show and tell. It's a time that they get to show their own toys to everyone else. Kids walked onto a little stage and talked about toys in front of people. Some of them are shy, some are confident, some are happy, and some are sad... Linus forgot to bring his toy to school that day and he's so sad. But his teachers and friends all cheered him up. It's ok, Linus. Just remember your toys next time.

Playing Time

Circle Time: We talked about today's weather and date in the morning.

Park Day

We are playing "Police Officer and Thief " at the park.

Toy Show and Tell

Play Time!!

I brought a little gift for the BEST student that day. Jerry tried very hard and was excellent through out the day. He got it at the end of the day. He was so happy and proud!!!!! I am very happy for him!! ^_^ Good Boy!!

But... Linus broke down into tears because he wanted to be the winner and won the gift that I just gave to Jerry. I explained to him that the gift was only for the BEST one. He was so sad but he understood me. He said he would try to be the best one next day. It's a very good lesson for Linus and all the other students. Many of us always want to let our kids win, but we often forget that in the real world there are both winners and losers. Children need to learn how to deal with losing and become motivated by their failures. 

Always stay positive and motivated!!! Big Smile Linus!!! ^_^

I read the "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe" story about a tiger and the hunter. Howard was scared when I drew a tiger on the whiteboard. He sobbed with tears!! Oh, silly Howard, don't cry!!
